AW17R3 INTERNAL MIC

So I bought this brand new Alienware17r3 about 2 months ago. I haven't installed Skype until now and the internal microphone, while it pics up sound, has a lot of static noise and doesn't pic up my voice at all. I've downloaded other apps that require the mic and while the work better, its only if I yell that the can actually pic up my words. To make things worse, I tried to set up voice control with Cortana, and the voice control settings can't pick up my words enough at all. I've updated my drivers, and ran several of the test to see the problem and nothing. Whats wrong and how can I fix this? Thanks!
