AlienFX 3rd-Party Access?
I have an M15x laptop, and I am a hobbyist programmer. I also love playing StarCraft II. Recently, they announced this peripheral:
http://www2.razerzone.com/sc2/marauder.php
It's a backlit keyboard whose LEDs change depending on how many APM (actions per minute) you are doing at a time. It got me thinking that we could do something similar with AlienFX.
Is there any information on programming for the 3rd-party interface for AlienFX? Whom should I contact?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

The AlienFX_SDK is located in the Alienware folder.

Thanks for the pointer. I just heard that Blizzard banned some accounts for "helper" applications, so I need to find out if my app would violate the terms of service. :-(

I don't play but my wife does (so I'm familiar with WoW Add-Ons ... but only on a user level).
Just an idea ... but what about a WoW Add-On (therfore using the proper game interface) that will monitor player status, and then the AlienFX app responding to variables called from your WoW Add-On?
Edit: Oops ... not sure if SC2 has a custom Add-Ons system.
