Alienware 18 770M graphics card and Oculus rift.
I currently have an Alienware 18, which I have run through the Oculus compatibility checker and it says my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M is not good enough to run the Oculus with.
Does anyone know if this is because Oculus have not released specs for laptops yet, or is the 770M not going to powerful enough?
If worst case in confirmed, is it possible to replace the 770M in my Alienware 18 with a better card that can run Oculus?
Thanks.

Hello,
According to the Oculus Rift system requirements, it needs an NVidia GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater. I believe this product was meant for Desktops since it requires lots of power.

Okay thanks for that. Looks like I am going to have to have a rethink, even if I could get a 980m into the laptop, it seems I need at least two usb 3.0. Maybe time to go back to a desktop.
