Alienware Aurora ALX won't boot up!
Alienware Aurora ALX, 875watt psu with GTX295 1792MB, recently it won't boot up, first of all i test the memory, and it seems the 3 black sockets are not working, cause once i plug them in, the bios give me two beeps, no memory found, then i tried white one, it boots ok, and once i get into the windows and click start and shut down, then i can't turn the machine back on, do not know why, so i unplug the videos card power and the power cable from the PSU, and replug the psu cable, but leave the graphic card power unplugged, once the psu cable is plugged in the machine will be boot itself, no need to hit the power button, then it will give me 6 beeps to tell me no video card, i have to shut down by hit the power button and reconnect the graphic card 6 pin power cable, and it will boot ok, but everytime i hit shut down in windows, it won't boot back on, so i have to do everything all over again, the computer is out of warranty time, and now i need to know which part of my computer is not well? Mainboard? PSU not supplying enough power? graphic card?
Please Help, thanks

I'm testing my memory here but I think this may have something to do with the RAM slots.
You have 6 slots, is that right? Three white and three black?
I think the RAM modules need to be in a certain order to function correctly.
There are a few combinations you can use I think.
All the black slots OR all the white slots
I also seem to remember the first two slots from either the left of right will work too, but not 100% sure on that
Here's a link to the Alienware beep codes

The power supplies on the Aurora's are also notorious for failing

At the end, i think the memory is fine, cause i plugged in all six one time and it turns on, and it showed me all those memories in total 18G, and now i tried the green button at the back hte machine turns on, but it won;t work with the power button, even without all the memories and video card, i just can't turn that on

Could be several components: power supply, power button cabling, other cabling, motherboard. I would start by replacing the power supply.
Aurora-R1 875w power supplies = J556T, U595G, W299G
Call Dell Spare Parts 1-800-357-3355 and ask for prices and availability. Or simply search the web for the part number.

Check power switch with ohm meter or use a spare PC power switch for testing.
Admittedly, the motherboard is bad so don't expect it to work properly.
You might want to have a qualified tech look at machine instead of just swapping parts.
