Alienware Aurora R3
I acquired this Alienware Aurora R3 roughly 2 weeks ago. I understand it's an older system but I am not an intense gamer. However, whenever I power it on the screen stays black and about 30 seconds after start-up it beeps 6 times. There is no post beep either. I am completely lost and have done plenty of research and can not solve this problem. I am running a single GeForce 1.5GB GTX 480.

Hi,
Unfortunately, 6 beeps with no post usually indicates a video card failure. Try testing the video card with another system or another video card with your Alienware system to confirm if the card has a hardware failure.

I tested this theory today, sadly my graphics card is trash.. Now I'm trying to determine which graphics card would be best for me to use with my Alienware.
