Alienware Aurora R4 - Headphones into rear jack

Hi everyone! I'm not a native english speaker, but i'll do my best!

I have an Alienware Aurora r4 with windows 7 and i have unfortunately broken my front jack for the headphones. Now, if i try to connect the headphones to the back of the pc, in the speaker jack, the audio quality is very low, i have for example static noise issues. I guess it is because i am using the speaker jack for the headphones. Is there a way, with realtek or something, to change the speaker jack,  on the back, in a headphones jack, in order to maintain the same audio quality?

You will probably find that having the long (analog) headphone wire along-side the computer tower it attracting EMI/EMF interference like an antenna.

You could try wrapping the headphone-cord around a ferrite core-ring or something similar.

Another solution ...

Get yourself a low-cost digital USB headset. It will plug-into the front/top again.
