Alienware Aurora R4--NO SIGNAL !!! HELP!!!!

I tried to install Win8 on my R4 yesterday, I put in the disk and click install. After around 40 mins, the computer restart and my monitor says:“No Digital Signal”

I tried to clean the CMOS setting but it didn't work. Then I took out the CMOS battery for 10 hours and put it back. There is still no signal on my monitor.

BTW my R4 is out of warranty.

Unplug your monitor from the wall, then plug it back in. If no good, try your video card in a different slot. See if it helps. That's what I'd do.

Hello Justinfeng!

On this link you can check some troubleshoot steps that you might take in consideration when you don’t have video.

As well make sure that you are connecting the monitor to the secondary video card (in most of the cases the port comes with a plastic cover)
