Alienware Aurora R4 - upgrade from GTX 690 to GTX Titan

Hey Guys,

Im trying to decipher if my Aurora R4 system can handle the power voltage jump from my current GTX 690 card to the GTX Titan. Is the answer dependant on specific system information or can anyone give me the correct information right off the bat??

Any help would be appreciated....

There is power going through the card as the logo lights up. Im also positive it's seated correctly without pressing too hard and breaking something. Ive just bought the card and today is my first time attempting to install

Hi

Ive currently installed a gtx titan in my aurora r4 now and get 6 beeps when attempt to boot the system. What am I doing wrong?

6 beeps indicate Video card failure, so it could be that the video card is damage or that it's not well plugged in.

I have the same problem, I upgraded it from an AMD 6850 to a GTX TITAN and I get these 6 beeps

I solved the answer on my own...what kind of monitot are u trying to connect to?

Might be SecureBoot error. Use this work-around or insure Titan is running latest (eVGA?) vBIOS.
