Alienware Aurora running louder than usual
So I have an unusual question/problem. A few months ago I posted about how my command center wasn't working. Since then, I've had Alienware replace the FX board in my desktop and that fixed the command center - mostly. Now, when I open up the command center, it appears that for some reason it's recognizing my desktop as an ALX, not an Aurora. It shows the active venting option that's only available in the ALX and it shows 8 available light options for the chasis when the Aurora only has 4.
Also, as you'll notice, there's an "unsupported chassis" error in the upper right hand corner. Now, the lights and fans do work, so it's not that big of an issue BUT there's a hum noise that I don't remember being there before the fx board was replaced.
So I'm just wondering what this could possibly mean. Did they replace my fx board with a wrong fx board?

It's possible. There are two of them for the Aurora-R1 and Aurora-R2,
2JXP2 Master I/O Board, ALX
P0GVP Master I/O Board, Non ALX

You can also look on the board itself for a white label with the DP/N (which should match one of the above numbers)

They sent out 2JXP2 Master I/O Board, ALX. They should have shipped P0GVP Master I/O Board, Non ALX. Setting up another onsite service.
