naw it wont have the logo this is just windows 7  before dell added the logo in windows which u can add later it isn't hard ive done it... but the  windows will work fine for your key.. alteast did for me  on dell's alienwares,  hp's and  acer's

windows 7 starter on a M17X? usually it was installed on netbooks, ultrabooks ect....  you sure it wasn't home premium? or home basic?  or did you install it the starter yourself? caus eto dnload it isn't hard as  digital river has what u need but u need to use your key during install and mod a ultimate, pro or home dvd to accept.....

sorry i mess up . my problem is i got dvd disk with alienware logo windows 7 os 64 bit home premium and when i try to use it writer will not read it beacuse disk is damaged and my question where i can get for example iso image of this . I got my m17x R2 and i got new hdd fitted with no os on it and i would like to install same as before windows 7 with alienware logo . hope u help me;]

thanks anyway but iam really looking for image from alienware disk . hard to find it

well  if you haven't gotten it by tomorrow I can  rip the  dvd I got from my M17X R2 and post a link for it....  just I wont have time till then
