Alienware aurora black screen no lights start up
I have only started the computer for the first time on Friday, I had a lot of trouble with this machine because of one problem, the screen is black and all that is running is the fans, nothing else, the monitor won't get a signal, items like the keyboard doesn't have it's light on, even the lights on the desktop which is suppose to be lit up is absent. I fix this problem sometimes but it always bothered me again. One time all I had to do is change the bios and choose for it to boot in UEFI, or whatever it is, start it that way, get an error, start in legacy boot, which was already set that way before changing to UEFI and it starts fine. Next time I actually had to pull the cord because it got that problem and it suddenly fixed it magically while it was on start it up and do the bios thing again. Ugh, my brother paid 3000$ and I don't want his hard earn cash go to waste due to some loophole in the warranty. I want some actual fixes that fixes it, nothing else. I don't want a temporary fix that masks the problem. Anyways, at startup the fans are running but no lights, no picture, no nothing, it seems all that is running are the fans. Any help would be appreciated.

ktnguyen,
To what port on the Aurora-R4 is the monitor connected? List the system specifications out for us.

There should be a Menu button on the monitor. Press it and the OSD (On Screen Display). It should tell you what the model is.

I'm glad that the issue was solved so easily. Here is some troubleshooting just in case it gets to happen again in the future.
