Alienware aurora r4 7970 in crossfire???

Hey guys I was wondering if this setup can happen on a 875w psu? Also do you think there will be heating issues because the cards are so close? I brought two already they should be shipped soon. Aurora should be here on 23 of feb. System I7 3960x @4.0 16gb ram 6870 crossfirex

Yeah I ordered on wendsday of last week.  I wanted to wait to see what this alienaware announcement was about. Was hoping for a new system with high psu and cards split apart a little more. Hope I don't have any heating issues. I'll prob make a video of them on crossfire so everyone can see if they can run it. Hope you can

Hey man I got tired of get delay after delay so I Just cancelled. Went with cyberpowerpc.  I think I got better pc for the price.  New pc has 4 way sli/crossfire an has 1300w psu.  Didn't want a pc that cost that much that the only option was a 875w psu.

You 875W will handle the 7970's in xfire fine. You just wont be able to do heavy overclocking and will have to manually turn the PCIe fan up to about 45-50% while gaming to keep them cool.
