Any way to remove Command Center from Alienware Area 51 and let Windows 10 manage fans?
I can't stand the noise any more. I have fought with Command Center for years, and after the last Windows 10 upgrade, I can't get Command Center uninstalled/reinstalled (which in the past had fixed issue temporarily). I don't care about the FX, or the venting anymore. I just want a working computer. Is there a tool/process/setting etc... that would either allow me to do without Command Center altogether, or get a clean uninstall/reinstall? I am at the end of my rope, and trying the support forum before just buying something else.

I assume you have an older Area51-R1. IMHO, you should just fix your issue with MIO-Board and/or Alienware CommandCenter. You just clean-install AWCC v2.8.11.0 in Win-8 Compatibility-Mode.
But sure, the MB should control the (most important) radiator fan. The others ? Well, you can try using any available fan headers but ultimately, I think you will need cheap/minimal or nice/proper 3rd party fan controller(s).

Yes, it is an older Area 51. It is going on 7 years and still screams so I have definitely gotten my money out of it. I finally broke down and did a fresh Windows 10 USB install, and lo and behold, Command Center is playing nicely. No more jet engine sound in the house. I guess I was just not getting something fully uninstalled, as I used the same installation files for Command Center after the windows wipe. Happy for the moment - thanks for the response.

1. Right, but only because you included URL Links. It's like that for all Normal Users.
2. I think only because you included external URL Links. Try not using them a few times and see what happens.
3. This new forum platform is Beta. Additionally, your issue has already been brought to Forum Software Platform Developer's attention.

Excellent.
Yes, something about clean installs of proper AW-CC ... sometimes resets or re-writes some code address in MIO-Board it seems. Yeah, I still have my (similar) Aurora-R1 ... running Win-10-Pro/64 and sporting a Nvidia GTX-1070 these days. I say, keep-em running since they are still relevant. This is what happens when you buy "enthusiasts class" machines way-back in the beginning.
Also, don't forget about (self bootable) Dell 32-bit Hardware Diags. If it goes bonkers again, just running those tests have also been known to reset MIO-Board.
