Are the M2 SSD slots in Alienware laptops PCIe Gen3 x4?

I believe there are three M2 slots and one drive bay in the Alienware 15" and 17" laptops. Do all or some of the M2 slots support PCIe Gen3 x4? If only some do, how many, and which ones are they (need to know for drive form factor considerations). Thanks!

Hi zamond‌,

The computer has 3 pcie M2 port:
2 in size 2280, these two will run at 4x and it also has 1 in size 2242 that runs at 2x.
So if you put one 4x in the 2x one, it will run at 2x.
