Area 51 R2 Randomly freezes And Screeches from the speakers.
I've been having this issue of and on where a game or program will the load the and the pc will emit a hi pitched screeching noise from the speakers. some times it totally freezes other times the system works fine but won't stop screeching till you reboot.
It's getting annoy and would like to get it sorted out or fixed while in warrenty.

happened to me few hours ago for the first time during gaming. sounds like electrical interference. no errors in the Event Viewer or Reliability Report. no overheating, not even close.
the only thing i noticed was a new windows update before i started gaming.
and.... my warranty expired few weeks ago. *headshake*
did you run the EPSA Test? i'm gonna do it tomorrow. too tired at the moment.
Edit:
So. according to ePSA Test both, PCI Fan and Top Fan failed. apparently they don't respond as they should.
and then i received a message during memory test which says "Memory Issue Solved" without additional info. probably OC related. I'm gonna try some things now and then we'll see.

okay. try this:
1. run ePSA Test just hit F12 during boot up and pick ePSA.
2. if you overclocked your PC, try to backdown a little or remove it completely just for testing.
3. Clear CMOS. you can use the Jumper next to the battery or just pull the Coin Cell Battery like i did.
4. update your BIOS and Drivers if still not done.
5. update SSD Firmware and Drivers.
6. Download Memtest and create bootable Device. Test your RAM
should be enough for now.

Nice that you actually got a BSOD to lead you.
USB ports have always been a problem on Area51-R2. However, BIOS updates and Intel x99 Chipset drivers reportedly took care of the early reported "usb audio latency" problem. One problem that lately still pops-up by owners is Windows complaining that "too many USB devices are being used".
Of course, check for latest BIOS and it's settings. Check for latest Intel x99 chipset drivers (maybe from Intel.com).
I would also disconnect any strange USB devices for a while, and give some thought to what USB 2.0 or 3.0 devices are connected and to what kind of ports or internal hubs. Maybe match them-up better or spread them out.

1. ran Epsa everything came back fine
2 Reset the overclock to stock
3 clear CMOS
4 bios and all drives were uptdate
5 Check all are current
6. Downloaded need to run.
Just got a BSOD with the code
usbxhci.sys
google turned that up as a keyboard or mouse plugged into a usb 3.0 might cause that?

I think it would be easier to give you both the attention you deserve it separate threads. It appears to be turning-out to be a different issue. Maybe you would like to start your own thread (just copy and paste posts so far)?
Yes, I would definitely keep your Over-Clock off for a while to remove that possibility from equation.
Sounds like something is going on with your AW-CC/ MIO-Board and/or it's connected devices (maybe something is "holding it down"). Also, matches up with the recent AW-CC strangeness you were mentioning the other day.

Looks like other motherboard manufacturers have also been having trouble with USB ports on Intel x99 chipset over the years.
https://www.google.com/#q=x99+usb+problems&spf=377
A good number of hits on YouTube also for x99 USB problems and issues.
IIRC, Dell/Alienware Area51-R2 motherboard is an OEM MSI-made motherboard.
Possible explanation is that they all based their designs on Intel's initial x99 Reference Design ... which was glitched from the beginning.

the USB problem is not x99 plattform exclusive. look at Asus Z170 support sites for example and you will find USB Firmware Update Tools.
a bit off topic:
@ Tesla1856
and i'm surprised again. why did you remove me from your list? whatever....

Interesting. You think they would have "USB Ports" figured out by now. However, the chipsets and circuits do keep changing.
I've just skimmed info, but some people seem to think it has something to do with "Power Management" of USB ports. While a lot of that is in place for laptops (on battery), I don't think it's really necessary for desktops.
