Aurora-R3 internal theatre lighting not working

I got an Aurora-R3 about 3 weeks ago and the internal lighting never comes on when I remove the panel. In fact, I don't even see where the lights are supposed to be.

Now it's a minor complaint, but I'm wondering if it has any relation to my major complaint with my AW, a freezing issue seen in this post.

For example, maybe other things aren't properly plugged in.

So where exactly are the lights supposed to be? what do they look like? and why wouldn't they be working?

thanks in advance for any info!

They might have changed it on the R3 ...

On the Aurora R1 & R2 ... both the Standard and ALX models have the rear exterior panel lighting. However, only the ALX models have the interior lighting. The ALX models have white LEDs soldered into the Top Lighting Board (strip) along the top. There is also a battery holder on the ODD bay side black plastic cover.

I don't think there are internal lights when you open the case, or at least mine doesn't have any either.
