Backing up system recovery media failed when using DVD

Hi:

Today I tried the system recovery media for AlienResprawn and used two DVD to backup the system at its factory default state, but on the second DVD system always say backup fails.

Has anyone got the system recovery media working? I might try using a USB flash drive instead
