I would check all the connections. Something could have come off when it was being shipped. The MIO board connects to the CPU fan header on the motherboard. If that poped off the CPU fan would still run at default speed (it's connected to the MIO and will run at like 1500 RPM) but it would not get the readings to adjust speed and could give you that warning. Check that first.
After that you would be looking at the MIO,Motherboard, CPU fan,bad cable somewhere...lots of work. Maybe try to update the BIOS ( they send them with old versions ) and the command center software to see if that helps.

Please try to rest the BIOS to the default settings and make the system to operate normally.
You can do this by removing the onboard battery or reset the "restBIOS" jumper pins located close to the onboard battery.
This may or may not work, but just something to try.
