Dell 2209WA The current input timing is not supported by the monitor
Hello,
I've just got no Alienware 51x with Geforce 660, hooked it to me Dell 2209WA and whenever I try to launch any game the screen goes black and this message pops up(can still hear game sounds):
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your display timing to 1680x1050@60hz or any other listed in display specification"
This happens despite the fact that resolution is set exactly like the one specified in the message. Can anyone help me?

sounds liek the game itself is set to run @ different settings not windows since it seems your getting into windows, now i dont know what games your playing but you can usually have launch settings specially with steam games to force ti to that setting upon opening .... simple internet search would tell you how to do this and so fourth
