Estimated delivery date - over 5 months out?? Really?

I ordered the Alienware 17 touchscreen laptop (no alterations or added hardware) along with an Alienware backpack for it on August 16th.  Just today (August 19th), I received the Alienware backpack in the mail.  However, I still have yet to be charged for the laptop.  Additionally, my order confirmation email stated that the estimated delivery date for the laptop was Friday, January 08, 2016!  What on Earth?

I am very confused by this incredibly long estimated delivery date.  I'm planning on moving to a different state in a month or two.  Luckily, I had my laptop delivered to my parents' home because I currently live so close to them and I wanted it to be sent there to their house rather than to my apartment to ensure it is delivered without issue. 

I never imagined it would take that long to order a laptop!  I just ordered the standard one too and made no adjustments to it.  I'm also currently pregnant for the first time and ordered this laptop to be more mobile around the house as opposed to being restricted to a single room with a desktop computer (and of course to ensure I can game for years to come).  So knowing this laptop may arrive even after our baby is due at the end of November is rather upsetting.

Can I really expect the delivery to take that long??
