Fan doesn't run after latest BIOS driver update for Alienware Laptop M17x.

I've always had problems with my fan.  After loading the version A03 the fan would work fine and I could play games like normal.  After about a week the fan would quit working, causing my game and/or the computer to crash after overheating.  I would reload the driver and the fan would work like normal again.  Now I've loaded the latest driver A04 released 06//04/10 and marked urgent and now the fan doesn't run at all.  Has anyone else had this problem and are there any/is Dell working on a solution?
