Help, Re-enable mSata 32gb SSD cache after reinstall, HDD/SSD not detected during RAID install.
I have an Alienware M17x R4 which came with a 750GB HDD and a 32GB mSata SSD cache, I recently had to reinstall windows but I don’t know how to re-enable the SSD cache.
I tried to follow these instructions:

but when I come to install windows in RAID my drives are not detected during install, neither of them, I only have the option to search for a driver, but it doesn’t find any.
And this is as far as I can get with a RAID install, no HDD/SSD’s detected.
I tried to follow step 2. where its says if HDD’s are not detected to go to RAID BIOS (Ctrl+I) and disable accelerate, but I cant click on that either, its grayed out, so I think maybe this is not the issue.
Please help, what do I do? Do I need a driver to make the drives show up? Where do I get it from?
Ive successfully installed windows in ATA mode but this doesn’t use the cache, I just have a second 32gig drive showing on my computer.
Ive also tried installing the Rapid Storage Technology software you see on the page too and it says I don’t meet the minimum requirements, is this because I’m not in RAID?

**SOLVED**
For anyone who needs this info, I solved it, at least for me.
The first thing I did was start to reinstall in Windows back in ATA again and during select a drive to install on I deleted all partitions already there then cancelled the install and switched back to RAID and began to reinstall Windows in RAID again.
This time my drives still did not show up apart from a 60GB drive which said windows could not be installed to. 60GB?
I returned to RAID BIOS where I saw a 60GB RAID array called CACHE, id seen this before but as it was called CACHE so thought it was necessary to leave, however this time I deleted the RAID array and presto, when I came to install again in RAID my drives are now there.
I then installed windows, installed Rapid Storage which now installs fine because its in RAID, followed the instruction to set up the Cache and its all working, and it fast!
Maybe this is what the instructions mean when it says to disable accelerate, to delete any RAID arrays already in RAID BIOS.
Hope this info helps anyone else with the same problem, I found it annoying when people ask the questions you need but never come back once they’ve solved it to say how they did it, assuming they did.

Here is another article<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>on how to do the installation, just make sure you are using the correct Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver and to put the system on RAID before starting with the installation.
