I have an alienware 17r4 and it had a g-sync QHD TN didnt like so I searched for another screen Found an IPS g-sync 120hz model name is AUO119D - B173HAN01.1
when I replaced the QHD screen with this one I cant control the brightness nor can I find the g-sync option and after investigating I have found out that there is an error , when I go to device manager and select the screen then events tab it says device is not migrated meaning its not working , this information is good enough ?

Ok, I understand now.
The upgrade is not officially supported. Therefore these issues may arise. Unfortunately we will not be able to help you with this, let's see if another user who has already tried, can help.

To be honest I expected nothing else from Alienware support always helpless and never again alienware if it were ASUS or MSI they would try to do something but then again its my fault for purchasing this product from a helpless company.
