Is it possible to simply swap out the OEM 850w psu for the OEM 1500w psu inside an Area 51 R2 without having to recable the entire system?

I know as a rule of thumb one should always use the cables that come with a psu. However, considering that both the 850w & the 1500w are both Dell OEM psus manufactured by the same company to meet identical specifications for the same system, are the cables between the two interchangeable?

I'm interested in buying the 1500w psu for my R2. However, rewiring the entire system looks too complicated. I know I'll mess it up, especially since the case is bifurcated and it's not possible to see clearly where all cables go.
