Is this SSD compatible with the new alienware 17 r3
I'm planning on purchasing this m.2 SSD:
Kingston HyperX Predator 240GB PCIe Gen2 x4 (M.2) Solid State Drive (SHPM2280P2/240G)
Would it be compatible with the new alienware 17 r3 laptop?

Hi,
From the description, it appears to be compatible but I cannot fully confirm this since its third party hardware. We recommend you check the size of the drive, it should around 80mm.

Will the R3 support PCI Express x2 M.2 drives?

From Kingston's website, it is a 80mm. I noticed that it says that it runs M.2 2280 form factor. Is that what the R3 runs?
