M14x FPS Issue

Hey guys so I have a problem with my fps. Recently my laptop broke, hdd disconnected and I went to get it fixed, they replaced my hdd and my motherboard. Before it got fixed I would run games fine and have decent fps in most of them. For example, in League of Legends I would have about 100 fps easy. However now I barely get 60 and after a few games I get 10 fps. Once I restart my computer the problem is gone until I start playing a few games. I

I updated my drivers, graphic card etc. Tried it with and without turbo boost ( I get lower performance when its active )

Here is what I got and what temp it was during my recent league match

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

CPU
Intel Core i7 2630QM @ 2.00GHz 48 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard
Alienware M14xR1 (CPU1)

Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)

Intel (Dell)
3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M (Dell) 43 °C

Storage
698GB TOSHIBA MQ01ABD075 ATA Device (SATA) 45 °C

Optical Drives

Does anyone know how I can improve my frame rates. When i play CS GO I never have this issue

i had an alienware m14xR1 with similar specs, for 3 years, i can ensure that you are having problem with the cpu heat. you need to use a better thermal paste, like ic diamond or tuniq tx-4, the better compounds that exist. if the cpu reach a temperature higher than 85°C immediately the cpu have a throttle and reduce the Ghz to reduce the heat. by deactivating the cpu turbo boost in the bios you can reduce the heat but if this doesn't solve your problem you need to make a re-paste and clean the heatsink and the fan.

i made this process each 6 months to prevent it happens

the process is easy. here you can find a video showing how to do it: [View:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKuZYMHbp9Y:550:0]
