Netflix not working on alienware 14

Netflix app will not work on alienware 14 running windows 8.1. they keep telling me that its a driver issue with my soundcard and tell me to update them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them three times now and updated to the newest drivers and to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated!
