New Alienware 18 - Partition descriptions?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new owner of an Alienware 18 and was looking for a technical description (if there is one) of the factory default partitions in the OOBE image?

The number of partitions seems to be a little on the high side, and with the ability to capture images from my own NAS. I'm considering alot of the partitions to be unnecessary when I have an external back up solution. 

But before I go and wipe all of the partitions on my SSD, can I get a description of each partition and it's use for typical end users? I'm considering capturing an image of the partition structure so I can roll back to the factory image should I want to in the future which I suspect I'd need to do before wiping out the recovery partition etc.
