Not able to change boot hard drive

I recently purchased an Alienware Area 51-R2 with the Windows 10 Pro, 5820k, 980 ti, 8gb of ram and the 2tb 7200 rpm hard drive.  I didnt get a SSD because I had one already (256gb Crucial MX100).  The problem I'm having is that im trying to switch my boot drive to the SSD.  I go into the bios to switch drives and Im not able to locate the drive to switch to.  The computer is registering the hard drive.  Im not really sure what to do.  Any help would be appreciated.
