Replacing motherboard Alienware Aurora R5 with a 3rd party brand
My motherboard in my AURORA R5 went kaput. I want to replace it with another brand of motherboard. Anyone knows one that would work ? Maybe MSI branded ?

Tesla1856 told me once that the Aurora R5, R6 motherboards were build by Pegatron (part of Asus Brand), so MSI is probably not the right choice.

They also mount the board to a tray.

Only an Aurora-R5 motherboard will run the lights. There might be other proprietary hardware to consider.
What happened to it? What is wrong with it?
No warranty or insurance huh ? ... How much does Dell want for a bare Aurora-R5 motherboard?
