There is something wrong with my Alienware 15 gtx980 memory clock.
I got my refurbished by maufacture laptop from ebay. My spec is alienware 15, I7, gtx980. However today I looked up my memory clock using gpu-z. It said my gpu clock was 1038 MHz Memory 1253MHz Boost 1127 MHz. I thought something was wrong with these value, and I looked up those values online. In nvidia site, I could look up the defeat value. It said the base clock was 1038 MHz(this one was correct), but for the Memory Clock, it said 2500MHz.. Is there something wrong with my spec? 1127MHz is smaller than the half of the actual value. As I bought refurbished, I knew there should be some problem.. but what is this really.. What kind of disadvantage do I have if I have a half of memory clock..?

That Memory clock is normal. The VRAM of the 980m, GDDR5, actually has an effective memory clock speed of 5000 MHz. If it were DDR3, it would have been running at 1253 MHz.
The 1127 MHz is the boost clock to the core clock, the one with 1038 MHz as its base. It's also normal.
There's nothing wrong with the GPU.
