USB 3.0 PCIe x1 Compatiability with Area-51ALX; X58 Chipset

I see in the Dell Alienware support site a listing of MICRO STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. USB 3.0 PCIe x1 as an update.

It kind of leaves it up to you to figure if it is compatiable with your system even thought the download sites lists my applicable Alienware system (i.e. Area-X51 ALX with Win7  64bit).

Question: Is my system compatiable with this USB 3.0 PCIe x1 download???

I'm pretty sure that the Aurora and/or Area51 with X58 chipset doesn't support USB 3.0 natively on-board. They recently started offering a PCIe USB 3.0 card as an option. If you bought the add-in card with your pre-configured AW, you can use the driver ... but it might be the same version as the driver it shipped with.
