Upgrade my Alienware Mx17
Hi,
i bought my Alienware M17x - R2 about 3 years ago. Now i upgraded the Hdd and the Ram. The next step is to Upgrade the Graphic chip.
I have the ATI Mobility Radeon Hd 4870 build in and want to change it. Which chips fit?
I also want to change the main fan, because it got very loud. Which one should i buy?

Hello Lacrim!
For the M17xR2 we validated the following video cards:
AMD 4870
AMD 5870
Nvidia GTX 285
You can use any other video card but we cannot assure you that it will work properly.
And on regards to the fan you can check in Ztronics, eBay or Amazon since we don't sale those parts any longer.
