What motherboard do I have?
So my mother board got bricked after a bad BIOS update, I tried to fix it via taking out the battery and reset and bios, that did not work, resetting the CMOS jumpers did not work either.
So I need a new motherboard, does anyone know what motherboard the Dell Alienware Aurora R4's come with? I have a list of part numbers, but nowhere do I see a mother board.

Aurora R4: Remove the system board >< Aurora System Board Reassembly
FPV4P & 7JNH0 are the mormal part#'s here in the US. 8FMMC is a possible #. Your part# is on your motherboard, on a sticker in two places (photo). 7JNH0 has a sticker that calls itself a revision, maybe a newer board. It is possible a replacement mthrbrd may not have a Windows 8.1 product key in the bios, unless someone would like to correct that statement for me.
FPV4P REV A00
7JNH0 Rev A00
7JNH0 REV A02
C5D9P (REV A00) has been popping up lately too, why, dunno. I found a label to go by (left) & for some reason a new label was placed on top of an original 7JNH0 label (right).
- the Motherboard Tempan Tray -
On Area-51 R1 & Aurora, the motherboard tray - the aluminum sheet the motherboard bolts onto - is called a tempan / tempan tray. Sometimes the tempan / motherboard tray will have its own part#.
my part# XDJ4C Area-51 motherboard was listed by its tempan tray's part# 4D1YC. when it arrived here, this sticker was on the aluminum tray, XDJ4C was found on the motherboard, similar to Aurora.
XDJ4C motherboard is inside this static-pouch
compare the Dell Refurbished Label on this XDJ4C Area-51 motherboard (with a tempan tray as part#) with the Aurora C5D9P label photo. When I search C5D9P online, I also get hits for a tempan. Ok?
8FMMC
edit two June 2016: Finally, I found a photo & listing for '8FMMC' ... kind of:
FPV4P? with what looks like a factory skinny barcode strip CN - 8FMMC - xxx
we're seeing people slap these barcodes & other stickers on lot lately; I don't know where they come from or who does it, but, there it is, documented finally
edit one February 2016
8FMMC is another Aurora R4 motherboard part# floating around with possible ties to a tempan. Again we see a refurb sticker but no look at if it's the 'real' part# attached to board. Google hit for 8FMMC:
