Wireless Keyboard works on my Alienware X51 R2, but not my wireless mouse

Hello, I have a problem with my Alienware X51 R2.

I use a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse combo MK520, and it worked perfectly ever since I brought the Dell three months ago.

But since yesterday, only the keyboard works. My mouse cursor move across the screen, can even hover, but when I click, nothing happens. Its as if the mouse is dead even though the cursor moves across the screen.

However, as I said above, my keyboard works perfectly.

Can it be fixed?

Hello,

Is there a way you can test the Logitech mouse with another computer? This is to rule out a hardware issue with the mouse. Since the issue started yesterday, you could try a system restore. This will take the system back to an earlier time and undo any driver changes or settings that might have occurred.

No, I do not have any other Windows computer to try the mouse on, and its a Windows-only keyboard/mouse.

Well yesterday morning, it resumed working again, and didn't failed since then, but I'll consider the system restore as you've suggested.

Thank you,
