Hi saxondale73‌,

The GTX1050 is not a validated card for this model but it should work. You just need to keep on mind the maximum measures that are supported so that this fits in the case:

Length: 9.5"
EVGA - Product Specs - EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING, 04G-P4-6253-KR, 4GB GDDR5, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan)

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I think the dimensions would be ok, but I'm a bit concerned about overheating. I've read a number of posts saying that only 'blower' type cards should be fitted in the x51, to blow the heat out of the back of the chasis. I understand that gtx 1050 cards aren't validated, but do you think heat would be an issue?

Thanks again for your help and advice.

We do recommend blower type cards due to the design of the machine, also bare in mind that this is not an official upgrade. Hence, we haven't tested it ourselves for full compatibility. Perhaps an user that has done the upgrade can chime in and give us his/her input on this.
