X51-R2, Recording static with any recording devices
Hello everyone, I'm having some problems with my Alienware x51. it has bad static whenever i record with any recording devices and also has static in Skype but barley hear able. Anyone have a solution? I had another computer and i didn't have the same problem i'm having right now. keep in mind that i was using the same recording devices.
My specs are here:
Model: Alienware X51-R2
OS: Windows 7
processor: i7-4770k
Integrated GPU: Intel HD 4600
GPU: Nvidia GTX760
RAM: 8GB
Memory: 1TB
Power Supply: 330W
If you need/want anymore info to help me with this problem i would be glad to help!

oops sorry, 1 does not have static but 2 does, when I read your other message I thought of something else

i tried 1 and 2 and both still have the same static.

It says it failed installing. Am i not spose to have anything open while installing this?

I restarted my computer, had nothing running and downloaded a new copy and tried again but it said it still failed.

i look on the back of my computer and it says "alienware x51 R2"
sound playback, "speakers" selected
sound recording, "Microphone" selected
Device Manager, "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" , " Intel(R) Display Audio" , "Nvidia High Definition Audio" , " Nvidia Virtual Audio Device (wave Extensible) (WDN)" , "Realtek High Definition Audio"
