X51 R2 restarting on its own with no BSOD or Error Messages
Like it says in the title, the PC will randomly restart now and again and sometimes even fail to restart & continue by itself to try reboot. I have tried moving the desktop to another socket thinking it would be the that but the problem still persists. Could it possibly the the external PSU that is faulty?

Hi,
Try running an ePSA/Diagnostic test on the system, click here to view a Dell article that explains how to run this test. Pay attention to the test, as it will pass through all components and if the system reboots, I need to know in what part it does. Also let me know if you receive any errors!

Hi,
I ran a diagnostics test and all the hardware passed I had no restarts.
I completed a clean install of Windows & re-installed all up to date drivers & managed to get a BSOD for MEMORY MANAGEMENT.
After this happened I am unable to power up the machine at all.

Had this problem a while back.....i changed my power settings to ( balanced ) in power options.
fix it for me.
could be another reason...i hope it works for you.
I also recommend reseating video card...make sure no cords are hitting into the fan on video card ... (causes alot of problems for people with X51's)

Hey,
I tried that before I reinstalled the OS
I stripped the case completely bare and reassembled it to clean it and make sure all the parts are intact & the issue still resumed.
