cpu overclocking- unlocking the bios

Hi there,

About 7 months ago i purchases an alienware x51

Basic system specs:

Intel core i3 2120 @ 3.30 GHZ

1gb nvidia gt 545

4 gb ram

240 watt psu

1 tb hdd

What i would like to do is overclock my CPU but the bios seems to be locked as i cannot even scroll down to the part where i change the clock speed of my CPU.

I have fiddled with other settings in my bios to try and unlock the page but it still doesn't work. How can i unlock my bios (if it is locked) and then overclock my CPU?

Only the Alienware x51 is locked and only because, I guess, it's so small it wouldn't be able to handle the extra heat. The Aurora in your example has liquid CPU cooling. Your x51 is on air and it's a really small cooler too.
