how do I unlock alienware area 51 from bios setup? If I enter it wrong three times I get a system disabled and the pc shutsdown.
what is password for alienware bios setup.?

there should be no password. who entered it in a first place? is it your own system?

Hi mattymatt,
Try by resetting the password jumper. You can move it from position 1-2 to 2-3 (restart) and then move it back to position 1-2.
Here you can see where the jumper is located (#12).

There are no jumpers....its a laptop...and I didnt set the password..it seems to be a problem with this motherboard or model that I have...ive read alot of other people having same problem...I need to kniw what jumpers on the noard to jump. The solder beads is what I need to kn ow which one...and where are they located...I have the board out just waiting on someone to help me...ty

It entered itself...it generated the password for some reason and I was told that the only way to clear it was by jumping the solder beads on the closing chip...I dont know which jumpers to jump....and yes it is my own system....its over 15 years old and there is no support on it from alienware.... as soon as you turn on the laptop it asks for a password..if entered three times incorrectly it says system disabled. ...
