m14x light issues

The wireless and capitol letters icons do not work. I've dowloaded updated command center,latest bios,and chip sets,dell stated a new keyboard would need to be installed. The wirless indicator lighting curcuit board is not even connected to the keyboard.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
