Alienware Graphics amp disconnecting
I have an Alienware 17R3 with a graphics amp with a GTX 1070 but the amp disconnects makes a noise and reconnects it does this the whole time the PC is on , I do not know if the cable is faulty or not.

If you wiggle the cable near the port, does the same thing happen?

PCI-E power saving is default at 20 minutes in windows 10.
Best to turn this to OFF and High performance and sleep never.

It used to be really easy to plug in but now I seem to have to really put some force into it for the GA to work but I don't think it connects properly.

Then you might have a damaged cable or port. I suggest you examine both carefully with a magnifying glass or take some steady high-resolution pics.
