Hi tamjid ahsan,
Check the touchpad behaviour in Safemode with networking:
When your PC reboots you will be able to boot into Safe Mode from the familiar looking Advanced Boot Options screen.
Also, try uninstalling and reinstalling the touchpad drivers.
Uninstall:
Install:

Restart the computer.

Hi tamjid ahsan,
Does it happen in safe mode?
I recommend, install Touch freeze .This Utility disables touchpad automatically while you are typing text.
Install the touch freeze drivers from the below link:

From the above link, click on Downloads sections, save the file and run the file.
Please reply if you have any affurther questions.

no this does not happen in safe mode. i was not in safe mode for long time though.
in W8 it works fine for some time then gets very unresponsive and sometimes cursor moves around.
Should i install the A01 ver of the driver in the same manner?
or is there any hardware problem? should i check that by using live CD of ubuntu i guess...
this problem is very annoying......

Hi tamjid ahsan,
I recommend to update BIOS on the computer.
Clikc the link below to update BIOS:
http://dell.to/134kI1i
Note: Plug your computer to a good, working wall jack before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.
Also, create a new user account and check if the issue persists.

Post back the results.
