13 R3 BIOS 1.2.4

I bought a Graphics Amplifier and decided to update my whole system at the same time, I did this yesterday. Its the first time I've updated the BIOS since I got my laptop in June 2017, now my the keyboard and trackpad do not work at all, occasionally the Alienware logo turns red and the backlighting on the keyboard flickers in a random order, I desperately need to either downgrade my BIOS (it states its protected so won't let me) or update to a fix, i'm trying to work on this machine and without it i will loose all income, can anybody help in downgrading the BIOs, if its going to take weeks for an upgrade then I cannot afford to wait. It worked perfectly before, no issues, everything was silky...As noted I'm getting quite desperate now, my boss is getting quite irate that i'm not managing my work...
