I would like to provide feedback regarding the identification of Dell docking stations.

I recently purchased a second-hand Dell dock through Amazon that was advertised as a Dell Pro Thunderbolt 5 Dock WD25TB5. As a customer, I need to be able to verify whether I have received the correct model.

To my surprise, the product label on the bottom of the device only contains regulatory information such as "K20A" and "K20A001" and does not clearly state the commercial product name or model ID. As a customer, I find this extremely disappointing.

Dell sells these products under commercial names such as WD19, WD22TB4, and WD25TB5, yet the actual device does not clearly identify itself as such. This makes it unnecessarily difficult for customers to verify what they have purchased, especially in the second-hand market where multiple generations of Dell docks look very similar.

As a result, I am currently in a situation where I have less 24 hours to decide whether to keep or return a recently purchased device, but I am unable to independently verify whether the device shown to me is actually the model that was advertised. Please see the attached picture and help me identify whether this device is indeed the WD25TB5 that I purchased.

I would expect a company of Dell's size and reputation to pay attention to such details. Simply printing the commercial model name on the product label would improve transparency, reduce confusion, help customers avoid unnecessary disputes and returns, and make it more difficult for dishonest sellers to misrepresent products.
