Hello,

I just recently updated the BIOS from 1.8.1 to the latest 1.11.0 (August 26th 2020).

I have Throttlestop configured to undervolt my i7 8750h for the perpose of keeping my temps bellow 90c.

Since, I've installed BIOS Update 1.11.0 my Throttlestop configuration does not work anymore and the option

to undervolt et reduce CPU frequency are grayed out ! So now my laptop is running to 96c just by running Cinebench R20!

Is there away to downgrade back to BIOS 1.8.1?

 

DELL DID NOT MENTION THAT IT WOULD BLOCKED OUT UNDERVOLTING AND REDUCING FREQUENCY. 

I DO NOT WANT TO FRIED MY LAPTOP.
