17 R5, Factory reset, SSD compatibility

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing an Alienware 17 R5 and have two questions:

1. Is there any way to factory reset the laptop so the hard drives are clean, but the OS and all of the Alienware software are installed and configured correctly (might be buying second-hand) ?

2. Is the second SSD slot compatible with M-key SSD's as well as B+M? For instance, the Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 SSD (2TB) ?
