17 R5, loud fan noise, BIOS fan error
Hi,
I have an Alienware R5 17" that I bought back in January 2019 and never had a problem until now. It has been one month over my expired one-year warranty and I am now experiencing loud fan noises as well as a few BIOS error regarding the fan everytime I start up the CPU. Is this something that I would need a professional to look at and maybe repair or replace? Or could I partake in this matter by disassembling the back of the laptop and clean or replace the fan myself? If so, where could I get a replacement fan? Not sure if this will fix the problem or unless if anyone has a better solution. Please help

I'm assuming windows 10 is on the system......
Do you remember error code on the fan ? If no, run diagnostic to check the fan and other hardware within system.
1. Power off computer
2. Power on system, quickly start tapping F12 key continuously until you see Preparing One Time Boot Menu in top right corner of screen. In Dell Preboot menu, select Diagnostic.
After quick tests, select Fan and then Thorough Test Mode. Report back any error code.
