AWCC.exe KERNELBASE.dll fault w/exception code 0xc000027b

So, I periodically run Windows reliability monitor to see if anything is operating out of norms and one application continues to behave poorly; Alienware Command Center.

I've reinstalled Windows three times, reinstalled AWCC four times, and tried every permutation of application settings (delayed start, automatic, manual) to see why this app continues to fail and can't seem to solve the problem. It crashes every time I turn my laptop on. It does eventually run, but not after crashing at least once.

I can provide detailed information upon request and would be happy if anyone could provide some insight as to why AWCC has this problem.
