Hi @gohanrocs12,

Update the BIOS. Check the adapter wattage. This is normal when playing.

Check Desktop Battery Mode (right click on battery icon and disable it if enabled).

After this, it will be hardware related.

I'm not playing anything, i'm idling at my desktop. Did you even read what I wrote?

I was using the adapter that came with the laptop and I ordered, FROM DELL, the exact same adapter as a replacement.

Desktop Battery Mode is off.

Which hardware? I replaced both the battery and internal .DC jack

Well as you said on the first post, it will be the motherboard (since you already replaced the other parts).

I had the same problem, I found that my power-adapter is bent and the wires are loose, so I brought a new adapter. However the problem still exists when I play games, my alienware suddenly drops from 100% charged to 82% for no reason, even though it's plugged in. Then recharges back to 100%, sometimes it says "Plugged in, Discharging" and doesn't charge unless I pull out the adapter and re-plug it.

Sounds like the laptop is drawing more power then it's getting from the wall, thus draining the battery. Few things to try.

Kill the battery by running it down fully, then recharge. Unplug the battery cable and remove it from the wall, then hold the power button for 10 seconds.

Still persists, unplug the AC Cable and the box entirely, replug it in and try a different plug for the sake of ruling it all out.

Could be a failing AC unit.
